New sponsorship deal gives Colcot ABC cause to celebrate

FOLLOWING another successful season at Colcot Amateur Boxing Club (ABC), the club has been given more reason to celebrate after securing a sponsorship deal to provide funding for their new kit.

Ross Smith, owner of wedoanymortgage.com, has come forward as the new kit sponsor for the club he used to box for as a youngster.

The businessman has decided to give back to his old amateur gym and help out with new shorts and vests ready for the upcoming season.

IBF world champion Lee Selby and his brother, world title contender Andrew, both long time supporters of the club, joined Ross and the boxers to accept the cheque on behalf of their home town club.

Colcot ABC are still looking to replace the old bags, some of which have been there since the club opened its doors back in 1984, and are looking for further sponsors to help support the club in obtaining new equipment.
